Entomology
Version Two

This project is the second version of Entomology, a bug made of bugs.

The Entomology project marks a turning point in process, intent and product (almost by accident and certainly out of necessity). Although the patterns for the image had been created and 10,000 rubber bugs had arrived in time, it became immediately obvious that the installation could not be completed by me and the gallery staff in time. It was mathematically impossible.

The second version of Entomology was built with the assistance of students from the Grant McEwan College, The University of Alberta and local high schools.
