The Culture of Obsession explored in very different manners.

9 Marilyns is made from LiteBrite™ boxes gathered in garage sales and flea markets from across Alberta and BC. LiteBrite™ pegs are replaced with crystal beads in clear, opaque red, green and blue. The resolution is very low and the LiteBrite™ board is not a right-angle grid. Thanks to Warhol and his post-humous foundation's mad marketing, this particular image of Marilyn is easily recognizable. The iconic personality becomes a visual icon.
